At the first connection, everything seems fine. However when I logout the
host hangs. It appears that it is unable to process the logout. I've tried
using the disconnect button from the start button and clicking the X at the
top bar. Same results. The display on the host says I'm still connected and
if I try to login at the host console it hangs at the welcome screen. If I
try to reconnect from the remote I get a message saying the host is busy
processing a logout, delete or reset command. Any known issues regarding this?

The host is Vista Ultimate SP1 and the remote is XP Pro SP3.

I found the problem. It was caused by my CA Firewall. Just playing around, I
disabled it and I was able to reconnect remotely and log on locally with no
problem. It was also causing problems with Outlook blocking some of my
messages in certain mailboxes even though I had it opened for full access.
Anyway, it is now uninstalled.
Windows firewall isn't causing any problems so I'm now using just that.
Third party firewalls can be more trouble than they're worth.
